Editing to “Fit The Mood”

Make sure you consider the overall “mood” of the clip, and ensure the editing style you were planning to use meshes well with that mood.

In general, clips can fit in 4 broad moods, and your editing style should fit one of the following:

• Comedic (Meme-worthy, comedy bits, gags, etc)
• Exciting (Gameplay, focused effort, hype, motivational)
• Serious (Explanatory, informational, deep)
• Poignant (Reflective, sad, inspirational, cute, teetee)
